Work on the former Pinnacle site ceased in 2012. The challenge was to reconstitute plans for the site to deliver an attractive, viable and fully funded project, a key part of this being to capitalise on the work completed by the previous owners, who had successfully obtained planning consent for the City’s tallest building.
Lipton Rogers Developments recognised the outstanding opportunity presented by the site and committed more than three years to evolving a new design solution. Working closely with the City of London planning department and using the existing foundations and basement, Lipton Rogers’ completely fresh approach will deliver 1.4m sq ft in a new 62 storey landmark tower for completion in early 2019.
